Mississippi Delta Community College hires Rowland to lead Softball Program.
Dylinn Rowland, formerly known as Dylinn Stancil, joins the Trojans as the Head Softball Coach.
Moorhead, MS-Athletic Director Jason Conner has announced the hiring of Dylinn Rowland to take charge of the MDCC softball program."We are extremely excited for Coach Rowland to lead our softball program," Conner said. "Her successful experience of playing on the highest stage possible combined with her passion for the game is phenomenal! She is going to be a wonderful role model for the young ladies that she will recruit, coach and mentor."

Rowland comes from Blue Mountain College, in Blue Mountain, MS. She was an Assistant Coach under Daniel Rowland and Ken Hardwick. During her era at BMC, she worked with infielders and hitters. Under her guidance, BMC's Anna Taylor was the SSAC Golden Glove Award recipient.
During her playing career, Rowland helped lead Ole Miss to the SEC Championship in 2017 when she drove in 29 runs, scored 26 and batted in the Rebels' two runs in a 2-0 win over No. 1 Florida in the SEC quarterfinals.
As a freshman at Ole Miss, she started 46 games where she batted .256 with 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored, while also being named the SEC Freshman of the Week for the week of Feb. 20, 2017.
In 2019, Rowland transferred to UAB where she started 49 games, notched 10 doubles, four homers and knocked in 27 runs.
In her senior campaign, Rowland was named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. Rowland led UAB with 32 hits and topped the team with a .395 average. She was also the only player in the NCAA to record two five-hit games in 2020.
Rowland is a native of Temecula, California. She graduated from Great Oak High School in 2016.
