Lady Trojans Headed to Tougaloo
By Neshun Holmes, Social Information Director
The Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans are back on the road today as they head to Tougaloo College for a 5:30 p.m. matchup.
MDCC looks to bounce back after a hard-fought 70–62 loss to Coahoma on Tuesday. Despite the setback, the Lady Trojans continued to show their competitive edge and resilience, keeping the game close throughout and fighting to the final buzzer.
Prior to Monday's matchup, MDCC delivered one of its strongest performances of the season with a 63–49 win over Southwest Mississippi, highlighted by efficient scoring, tough defense, and key performances from E'kemi Johnson, Za'Kensly Yarbor, and X'Zaylah Yarbor. The Lady Trojans will look to return to that form as they take on the Lady Bulldogs.
With strong leadership and the ability to respond after adversity, MDCC aims to regain momentum and secure another road victory.
Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to follow along and support the Lady Trojans as they look to claim another win.
