The Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans are back on the road today as they face Coahoma Community College at 5:30 p.m. in Clarksdale.
MDCC enters the matchup with strong momentum following a 63–49 win over Southwest Mississippi on December 4, a game in which the Lady Trojans shot an impressive 65% from the field and put together one of their most complete defensive performances of the season. E'kemi Johnson led the way with 20 points and 6 rebounds, while Za'Kensly Yarbor added 17 points and 4 steals to ignite the transition game. X'Zaylah Yarbor contributed 9 points as MDCC moved to 6–2 on the year.
With efficient scoring, improved ball movement, and high-level communication on defense, the Lady Trojans look to carry that energy into tonight's contest and secure another road victory.
Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to support the Lady Trojans as they continue their strong start to the season.
